#FEBBL day 3

TV or Radio series you’d most like repeated. Any Radio or TV series allowed but if possible try to avoid ones which are already repeated often, e.g. Dad's Army or the things that come round every Christmas without fail.
This is a very easy topic for me to blog about – in fact regular readers of my blog will probably be fairly certain of what I’m about to write already.
There are a very small number of contenders for my ‘top spot’: “To The Manor Born”, “You Rang M’Lord?”, “Dear Ladies”, “This Life”, the BBC 2 (1986) version of “The Hitch-Hikers’ Guide to the Galaxy”, the original “Bruce Forsyth’s Generation Game” (mid-1970’s) and the original “Sale of the Century” (mid- 1970’s to mid 1980’s). In terms of Radio programmes, “The Enchanting World of Hinge and Bracket”, “The Random Jottings of Hinge and Bracket” and “Weekending”
In reality the two game shows would be great to see again, but would soon seem very dated. Weekending is a programme which will only make sense to people who remember the current affairs of the time. Of the rest, all but Hitch-Hikers ….. are available on DVD, Video or CD (and indeed I have them in recorded form). Notwithstanding this fact, I would still love to see them aired live again.
My shortlist is “Weekending” (Radio), “Hitch Hikers’ Guide” (TV) and “To The Manor Born” (TV).
By virtue of the fact that “To The Manor Born” is already out on DVD (and I have it), my most desired repeat is therefore the BBC2 version of “The Hitch-Hikers’ Guide to the Galaxy.
