Unbelievable Truth - summarise a subject about which you are very knowledgeable in a way which makes it hard to believe (but is factually truthful).

Growing Parsley.

Parsley is a lovely herb or salad ingredient, which has huge amounts of vitamin C and iron in it and leaves the palate feeling cleansed and refreshed. It is, however, very difficult to grow. More precisely it is very difficult to germinate. Heat treatment is recommended for the seeds and in fact the best way to get them to germinate is to wait for a bitterly cold, icy, morning and then dig a shallow drill (or trench) into which the seeds are sprinkled before being watered with a generous amount of freshly boiling water – absolutely on the boil as it is poured directly onto the seeds in the drill. Quickly cover over the seeds, whilst the ground is still heated from the boiling water, and you are assured of a good germination rate and a healthy crop.
